We have just received our most recent shipment of the two most highly sought-after wines from Ten Minutes by Tractor; two single vineyard Chardonnays showing all the characteristics of great white Burgundy but with that unmistakeable Aussiestyle.
It is well known that James Halliday is seen as the world's authority on Australian wine and that his book the ‘Wine Companion', the only place to look to find its greatest wines and producers.
We are therefore very proud to announce that Ten Minutes by Tractor have been awarded five “red” stars in the latest James Halliday Wine Companion. Five “red” stars isthe new highest rating now above the normal “black” 5 stars; it denotes an “Outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity” – a new level of award for the very best winemaking. |

"Opulent and rich but reined in by minerality. Stunning aromas and flavours nectarine, melon and fig, but savoury too with hints of nutty, leesy notes and a touch of spice. Builds on the palate, creamy textural, with the oak beautifully handled.

"Similar golden colour to the McCutcheon Chardonnay, but with amore elegant and restrained style. On the nose, ripe lemon and lime, blossom, nectarines and honeysuckle. The palate abounds with white stone fruit, balanced beautifully by fine, crisp acidity, restrained oak spice and terrific length. A very classy wine that combines intensity and immense finesse."
