The proximity of the sea in the form of Gulf St Vincent, provides tempering sea breezes offering an excellent micro-climate for viticulture. With well structured soils, the Vale is a haven of consistency. Over the past 25 years its wines have received more and more critical acclaim. The wines are true to their origin, bold and full-bodied but with a finesse rarely seen in these parts. The Shiraz is one of the finest from the region.
