Although Cederberg does not usually announce their awards or do flashy launches, in May 2008 they

received several approving nods! Here follows a list of those awards and the wines for which they were awarded.

At the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2008 in Bordeaux: two gold medals – one for the Cederberg Shiraz 2006 as well as one for the Five Generations Cabernet Sauvignon 2005.

On 19 May the acclaimed Internatioanal Wine Challenge in the UK announced their awards: the Five Generations Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 and Cederberg Shiraz 2005 were both “commended” and the CWG Cederberg Private Cellar Semillon 2007 got a bronze medal.

At the Decanter Wine Show, in the UK, the following awards were handed to Cederberg Private Cellar: In the

Shiraz category for the Cederberg Shiraz 2006 and in the Chenin Blanc category for the Cederberg Sustainable Chenin Blanc 2007. The cellar also secured a silver medal for the Cederberg Private Cellar Semillon 2007 and a bronze for the Five Generations Cabernet Sauvignon 2005.
