The blackberry and savoury fruit predominates. The flavours finish with toasty vanilla oak giving the palate length and richness. This will age gracefully for the next 5-8 years.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Entirely worthy of its namesake the Empyrean is the flagship of the Reschke range and is only produced in limited quantities from exceptional vintages. Only the "most magnificent" fruit from Reschke's oldest low yielding vines is used in the Empyrean. Vinified using traditional techniques and matured in the finest tightly grained French oak barriques the Empyrean is a classic example of Coonawarra Cabernet. Aged a minimum of three years before release it is a distinguished and powerful wine that will cellar for up to 20 years.
