This 12.5-hectare estate was set up in 1951 and the wines produced here are textbook Beaujolais, but with an additional level of structure and interest. Benoît Trichard, alongside his wife and their two sons make up the family team. His Brouilly is exuberant and showy with a fresh berry nose and rose scented undertones. On the palate, the fruit is crunchy with a finely grained texture, which certainly provides more backbone to the wine than typical for the region.
