There is little doubt that this is the finest estate in St-Aubin. Olivier Lamy, who took over from his father in 1996, makes outstanding wines, which are superior to many wines from more fashionable appellations that sell at double the price. He has been practising organic viticulture for all his wines since 2007, although he is not certified. His vineyards stretch out across the Côte de Beaune with sites in Puligny, Chassagne and Santenay. Olivier’s wines are very consistent year on year producing refined and pure wines.
Olivier’s wines are made in the impressive new winery on the edge of St. Aubin, built into the side of a hill and spread over three floors.

The white wines are all of tremendous quality with pure, intense fruit flavours, ranging from citrus, lemon and grapefruit, through to tropical notes in the richer wines and minerality in abundance. The red Chassagne has lots of fresh strawberry and raspberry fruit in a very attractive and drinkable style.
