Our wine portfolio at
H&H Bancroft changes each year but the ethos behind it remains constant. From the classic regions of France to the furthest stretches of the New World our buying team has succeeded in bringing in the well-established names and also the hottest new wineries to ensure that our customers can explore the world of wine with the greatest of ease. If re-assurance were needed that we are working closely with the best growers in the world, we need only look at the awards and critical acclaim that roll in every month as their latest vintages are reviewed.
The past twelve months have presented us all with fresh challenges, and it has been more important than ever for us to concentrate all of our efforts on building on our strengths as a
wine merchant offering a broad range of high quality wines. In order to help our customers during this period, we have burnt the candle at both ends to offer stable, competitive prices as well as personal, professional and ever-improving service levels.
Quality is at the heart of everything we do, and in continuing the relentless improvement of our range, we have introduced a wide array of new wines. To strengthen our
Bordeaux section, we have enlisted the services of the world's best-known winemaker, Michel Rolland, and launched,
The Rolland Collection, a portfolio of his family properties and joint ventures. In South Africa, we have taken on
Hartenberg, the outstanding Stellenbosch estate with a voracious appetite for winning medals and trophies.
True to our principals of finding the best growers available, we have started shipping from
René Geoffroy, a superb producer of Pinot-dominated Premier Cru Champagne. Meanwhile, building on our growing success with Spain, we are delighted to introduce a pair of remarkably well priced wines from Las
Colinas del Ebro in Terra Alta, as well as an exciting old-vine red from
Eternum Viti in Toro.
