The Reschke family recently celebrated its centenary in Coonawarra, where they started out as cattle graziers, while gradually converting the best plots to vineyards. The bovine heritage is celebrated in the Latin names of the wines, “Bos” meaning “bull” and “Vitulus” meaning “bull calf ”, but the attention to detail goes much
further. Peter Douglas, Chief Winemaker for Wynns Coonawarra for 16 years, is
responsible for turning perfect grapes into classic Coonawarra wines, with soft
structure, concentrated fruit and fine balance. The new release Bull Trader wines are a very exciting addition to the Reschke range as is the limited production Fumé Blanc which is also sealed under a highly innovative glass closure.
