Château de la Négly is located 20km from Narbonne in the heart of the massif de la Clape. It is run by Jean-Paul Rosset who with winemaker Cyril Chamontin and consultant, Claude Gros, have made vast improvements in recent years and have received much critical acclaim for their impressive and complex wines.
The Oppidum is made from 40 % Chardonnay, 55 % Muscat and 5 % Sauvignon and is profoundly fresh with lashings of fruit. Made from 70% Bourboulenc and 30% Roussanne the Brise Marine blanc is powerful and generous with exotic mango and peach. The Pavillon Rouge is produced from 80% Cinsault and 20% Syrah and is a generous wine with silky tannins. Made up of 50% Carignan, 20% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre La Côte is an opulent red with cassis and black pepper. Finally La Falaise wine is an impressive and seductive wine with 50% Syrah, 40% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre.
