Christophe Cordier’s love of wine runs in the family. His grandparents had a few vines under the tenant farming system and grew beans between the rows. As a child Christophe spent all his holidays running amongst the vine stocks around Fuissé. Now with his own impressive and modern winery nestled high above the village of Fuissé, Domaine Cordier is one of the top estates in Mâconnais. His ever expanding range is testament to his ongoing mission to acquire new vineyards. The wines are made very much in the Côte de Beaune mould, with barrel ageing being the norm. They have brilliant delineation, great representation of terroir and an extraordinary richness.
