Domaine Henry Pellé is nestled at the foot of the slopes surrounding the village of Morogues. The Pellé family settled in the Morogues several generations ago and since the Menetou-Salon appellation was created in 1959, the domaine has grown to become one of the leading producers in the appellation. Today Anne Pellé and Paul-Henry Pellé, the estate oenologist and Anne and Eric’s son, continue to breathe fresh energy into the domaine.
The grapes are all hand-harvested, pressed using a pneumatic press and then fermented using natural yeasts. The wines are then aged on their lees until bottling and release. The resultant wines all reveal the subtlety of the extraordinary terroir through their mineral qualities, their finesse and their freshness.
