Domaine Pellé is nestled at the foot of the slopes surrounding the village of Morogues. The Pellé family settled in the Morogues several generations ago; since the Menetou-Salon appellation was created in 1959, the domaine has grown to become one of the leading producers in the region. Today Anne, (Henry’s daughter), continues to breathe fresh energy into the domaine, creating wines with character and finesse, and placing a renewed emphasis on single vineyard sites. The grapes are all hand-harvested, pressed using a pneumatic press and then fermented using natural yeasts. The wines are then aged on their lees until bottling and release. The resultant wines all reveal the subtlety of the extraordinary terroir through their mineral qualities, finesse and freshness.
