Primo Togni founded his winery in 1950 along with son in their home village of Serra San Quirico. Here, a few dozen kilometres from Ancona, they began to craft sparkling wines from the best vineyards in Veneto and Marche. The Prosecco Tor dell’Elmo is made from the beautifully rugged countryside of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, widely reputed as the best terroir for the glera grape. Fresh, fruity and a tad floral on the nose, the palate follows through with green plum, apple and pear. A brilliant addition to our expanding range of Italian sparklers.
